Former Residents Of UAE With Entry Ban Can Return To UAE
Good News for former residents of UAE who were left the country with an entry ban, UAE government offers opportunity to return back to UAE by utilizing amnesty.
During the amnesty period, the former residents who got an entry ban while leaving the country can apply for any kind of visa through any normal channels.
The person, who doesn’t have any pending legal cases against in any court of law, can utilize this opportunity.
The individual who were convicted and served their imprisonment in the UAE for serious crimes such as drug related crimes, human trafficking and violence will not be considered for this reprieve.
Someone who was convicted and served his or her jail sentence for minor crimes might be considered.
Generally, people who got an entry ban in the past for residency law violations such as overstaying and absconding can avail of the amnesty.
Still, the official clarified that each case will be scrutinized individually and a decision will be taken accordingly.
They can approach to visit the UAE or seek employment in the UAE through normal existing procedures. Their entry will be considered after scrutiny on case to case basis; and those banned on the basis of criminal or drug related cases will not be permitted to enter the UAE.
